The Architectural Preservation Institute has served a wide variety of governmental and non-profit building owners. Projects like these serve Colorado communities and engage our graduate students in the fieldwork, materials testing, and project management skills needed in the historic preservation field.

We have recently worked with:

• The Historic Fort Collins Development Corporation on the Preston Farm Homestead
• The Black American West Museum and Heritage Center at the Dearfield African-American Farming Colony
• The Poudre Landmark Foundation at the Romero House and 1882 Waterworks historic sites
• The National Park Service at the Fort Laramie National Historic Site

Our graduate students have assisted us with:

• The rehabilitation of the McGraw Ranch Ice House
